Our Bonded Polyester threads also have several unique benefits, including:

Solution (or dope) dying for all Bonded Polyester threads in BLACK colour;
In our most popular sizes, we carry both standard and reverse (‘S’) twist, and;
Resistance to abrasion and bleaching.

Spun Polyester Threads (Winspun)

Windsor Trading has been supplying its market-leading Winspun spun polyester threads for decades. Available in a number of counts and colours, Winspun has long been trusted by makers of knitwear, denim, leather and other garments. The highly durable thread is also routinely used in the production of mattresses, furniture and manchester.

We also offer an entry-level spun polyester product under the SPC label. This product is suitable for more basic sewing of garments.

Textured Polyester (Winloop)

Our premium Swift – P (Poly / Poly) and Swift – C (Poly / Cotton) Corespun threads have served the clothing and related accessories markets superbly for many years. Corespun threads are produced by twisting staple fibres of cotton or polyester around a continuous polyester filament core. This process provides added strength and abrasion resistance, making corespun threads suitable for a range of apparel applications.

Poly Cotton Glacé

Schappe Technical Threads (Fire Retardant)

Technical Threads (Schappe)

Windsor Trading is the exclusive distributor in Australia for Schappe, the France-based manufacturer of fire retardant (FR) and associated technical threads. Schappe is a global leader in the production of long-staple threads and related yarns for specialised applications, producing both meta-aramid (Nomex/Conex) and para-aramid (Kevlar/Twaron) threads. Featuring an extremely high melting point, these threads are most typically used in the manufacture of fire-fighting uniforms, protective clothing, filtration, and body armour. Other technical threads are available on request.

Meta-Aramid

Schappe’s Meta-Aramid threads, carrying the Nomex and Conex brands, are available in a range of colours and provide resistance to extreme temperatures, abrasion and chemical degradation.
